Europeans Regain Ryder Cup - with a little help from their friends.

It was a dramatic final day's play on the first Monday finish in history. It couldn't have been a closer fought event, with the match being decided in the final few holes.

Victory was confirmed when Mahon failed to sink a long putt for his parr at a short 17th, conceding McDowells putt to spark wild European celebrations.

This magnificient victory was only possible following as the European players were able to relax and enjoyed the elegant sofas in their lounge, supplied by Forest Contract.

Perhaps the only regret for the Celtic Manor was ordering the sofas in white, as by all accounts the players celebrations were extreme, and went on well into the night !
